How it works
How this calculator works
- Normal cargo gets 1 day of validity for every 200 km, or part of it.
- Over-dimensional cargo (ODC) gets 1 day for every 20 km, or part of it.
- Each day ends at midnight. The first day ends at midnight of the day after the e-way bill is generated.
- Validity can be extended from 8 hours before to 8 hours after expiry, up to 360 days from the first generation.
- Since 1 January 2025, e-way bills cannot be generated on invoices older than 180 days.

How is e-way bill validity calculated?
For normal cargo, the e-way bill is valid for 1 day for every 200 km or part of it. For over-dimensional cargo, it is 1 day for every 20 km. Each day ends at midnight, and the first day ends at midnight of the day after generation.
